Our menus include dishes made from fresh ingredients prepared on the premises by our professional kitchen brigade. Our head chef, Darren Masterson has been a qualified chef for 16 years. He began his training at catering college in Derbyshire where he was awarded student of the year. His first position was as commis chef and chef de partie at the New Bath Hotel, Derbyshire for 6 years. Darren then went to work at The Chimney House Hotel in Cheshire for 2 years where on one occasion catered for the Italian football team when they stayed for an international tournament.
Since then, Darren has worked at The Rowton Hall Hotel, Chester where he has on occasion cooked for amongst others, Gary Rhodes.
