About The Royal Oak
At The Royal Oak you can be assured of a warm welcome by Andrew, Betsi and their staff

Whether before your meal in our superb restaurant or if you are just calling in for a drink, you will be treated as one of the family. We can offer you a selection of beers and premium lagers on draught together with a choice of traditional cask ales. 

On the back of the bar is a well stocked array of spirits and fortified wines and for those who are driving or prefer not to drink alcohol, a wide range of soft drinks are on offer.

Coffees1We are open for morning coffee made from our Italian coffee machine offering Cappuccino, Mocchiato, Espresso, Lattes and many more. Please do not hesitate to ask us about each one. We also offer afternoon teas.

About your Hosts
Andrew and Betsi were born in Wrexham and despite living away some of the time, always returned to the Wrexham area. They first met when attending Ysgol Rhiwabon and married in 1999. They have two daughters, Melissa (25) and Kelsey(18) and currently live in Cefn Mawr.

Andrew has been in the catering industry for over 26 years starting out as a trainee at the Hand Hotel Chirk where he became a skilled, professional Hotelier and Restauranteur under the guidance of none other than Mr. Robbie Seddon, a first class Restauranteur well known in the catering industry throughout the world. 

Betsi’s (Andrew’s wife) career was interrupted by the birth of Melissa! Whilst being a busy mum she has worked Betsi and Andrewin various public sector jobs including Bar Supervisor and Head Housekeeper in Waltons Jewellers in Wrexham. Andrew has held various positions managing The Wild Pheasant Hotel, The Bernie Inn in Chester and The Oddfellows Arms.
